Rethinking the Group Portrait

We had a great time last week photographing the 2020 lifeguards from the Orland Park Aquatic Center. In past years, we did a huge group shot with everyone packed tightly together with the pool in the background... this year.... social distancing and safety are the order of the day. With a great deal of planning, we did our annual group shot with distancing, limiting contact time, masks on, and IN the pool. We used the zero-depth part of the pool to act like risers, which gave us much more room to work with to spread everyone out. This will definitely be one for the books. Thanks to all the folks at the Aquatic Center for their care and help.
