I had an opportunity to have an up-close look a the UP 4014 while it was on a stopover in West Chicago.  It was a little tough to get close to the locomotive but I was able to catch a few views.  What an interesting, complex machine; it looked almost new.  The UP did an amazing job with the renovation considering that the engine had been sitting inactive for over 50 years.
